Hillingdon Manor is a highly regarded independent school that is part of the Outcomes First Group. The school caters for children aged 4 - 19 years with a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. The school offers a unique mix of education and support to pupils within a wide spectrum of needs and abilities.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Primary Teacher with experience of working with children on the autistic spectrum. The post holder will be expected to lead the teaching of and co-ordinate flexible, person-centred programmes of study for designated individuals and groups of young people with ASD.

The successful candidate will have recent experience of working within EYFS/ks1, be experienced in teaching children with ASD and will need to have relevant experience of autism specific strategies such as Makaton, PECS, TEACCH, Intensive Interaction, 'P' levels and the Primary National Curriculum. Training will be offered in these strategies and support given to ensure the delivery of autism specific education to an excellent standard. Excellent teaching skills and qualified teacher status is essential. You will also take responsibility in developing the curriculum in consultation with the Principal that will support progress for all children.
