Job overview

With an annual turnover of c.£40m, a diverse student population and a staff base of 500, The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London (CONEL) is one of the largest colleges in the UK. It is also one of the most ambitious, with a clear strategic vision for the future and a mission to provide the best possible education and training to all of our students. In April this year, Ofsted graded the College as 'Outstanding' or 'Good' in all areas inspected. Leadership and Management were judged as Outstanding.

We are seeking to appoint a Principal and Chief Executive. The successful candidate will deliver outstanding leadership to help guide the College through a period of unprecedented change for the Further Education sector. The person appointed will demonstrate their skills as an experienced leader through their ability, creativity and business acumen and will inspire our dedicated staff and learners to achieve even greater success.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic individual to demonstrate their skills at London's number one performing College, which is dedicated to focussing on success for all of its learners.

Since its inception in 2009, the College has enjoyed annual improvement and the most recent data for Success Rates shows us to be London's number one performing College.

The closing date for applications is 12pm on Wednesday 8th October 2014. An assessment day will be held on Tuesday 14th October 2014 and interviews on Wednesday 15th October 2014.
