We are looking for someone with a proven record of excellent teaching and good or outstanding senior leadership - preferably as a Headteacher in schools.

You will:

  • lead the Improvement and Learning Service towards ensuring all our primary schools and EYFS provision are good and outstanding
  • contribute to corporate leadership and management in children's services
  • work as an Improvement Partner with headteachers to move schools to good and outstanding as quickly and sustainably as possible
  • plan, manage and deliver high quality CPD
  • make a significant contribution to raising standards in schools as an Adviser for all aspects of high quality teaching, learning, leadership and management
  • contribute to narrowing gaps for all vulnerable groups
  • work in both primary and secondary phase schools across the county, building effective relationships with Headteachers and staff at all levels.
