The De La Salle Academy, Liverpool is an 11-18 boys' Catholic Academy, situated in north-east Liverpool. We have recently completed an extensive buildings renovation programme, and the Academy represents an attractive option for prospective pupils. We were judged 'Good' by Ofsted in June 2013, and have a strong commitment to continuous improvement.

The Academy is sponsored by The De La Salle Brothers and co-sponsored by The Archdiocese of Liverpool and Liverpool Hope University, and is part of a worldwide network of De La Salle schools.

After a long and successful career at The De La Salle Academy, our outstanding Principal is retiring. The Governing Body is seeking to appoint an inspirational leader, who will guide this highly successful Academy through its next stage of development.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a practising and committed Roman Catholic in full communion with the Church
  • Be a strong, energetic and inspirational leader with the vision to continue our journey of improvement
  • Be committed to raising standards in teaching and learning
  • Have a track record of innovative, successful and effective senior leadership
