Established in 1989, the Landau Forte Charitable Trust operates 6 primary, secondary and sixth form academies across the Midlands. The aim is to create a Trust of outstanding schools that can provide students with the opportunities to realise their full potential.
In support of this vision, the Trust is seeking to appoint a new Principal to lead the ongoing improvement journey at Landau Forte Academy Amington in Tamworth.
It is an exciting time to join us as our new Principal; in recent years, the Trust has incorporated new academies, overseen capital build projects and now with a new Chief Executive in place, is undertaking a programme of considerable investment across the Trust to accelerate outcomes for all. As the new leader of Landau Forte Academy Amington, you will play a critical role in this journey.

Landau Forte Academy Amington opened in September 2010 as another member of the family of schools operated by Landau Forte Charitable Trust.
Whilst the Academy is part of the national network of schools and Academies, it is owned and operated as an independent educational organisation providing free full time education for children from 11 to 19 years old. Currently we have approximately 800 students. The Academy has been established to bring together the worlds of business, industry and education in a uniquely productive partnership to secure the highest quality education for young people.
The Landau Forte Charitable Trust is the sponsor of the highly successful Landau Forte College in Derby. It was invited by Staffordshire County Council and DCSF to open an 11-18 Academy in Tamworth, Staffordshire. The project provided an exceptional opportunity to be closely involved in re-shaping education in Tamworth.
