E-ACT is looking for a dynamic inspirational Principal to lead Reedswood E-ACT Primary Academy to good and outstanding. Reedswood E-ACT Primary Academy is a larger than average primary academy, providing education for 440 pupils aged 3-11. Located close to Walsall town centre, the proportion of pupils eligible for the pupil premium is almost double the national average, although behaviour is good. The academy's overriding mission is to meet the differing needs of its pupils, enabling as many pupils as possible to overcome the significant barriers to learning. The academy meets the current floor standard.

The new Principal will: 

• Provide strategic leadership to the academy to ensure the continuous improvement;
• Raise standards and further develop a culture of high aspiration;
• Improve the quality of teaching and learning still further;
• Accelerate the achievement and progress of all pupils across the academy; and
• Strengthen the effectiveness of leaders and managers at all levels.
