An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic person to join the business and Computing Management team. You will introduce visionary and innovative ways of working, be a creative and dynamic individual, with occupational knowledge and competence in one or more of the specialist area of Business, Computing, Retail, Travel, Enterprise and or Finance.The post requires leadership of a large team of lecturer, trainers and support staff together with a small teaching commitment. You will need to be passionate about teaching and learning with a strong track record and have experience of effective performance management and quality improvement.
You will possess excellent leadership and communication skills and be able to be responsive, yet calm in a challenging educational environment. You must demonstrate the ability to lead, teaching teams and to work with internal and external partners.
You will be educated to degree level and hold a teaching qualification to level 4 or equivalent. A sound knowledge of the sector is required together with the ability to support, encourage and motivate lecturers to deliver and excellence to our learners.

Leicester College is a further education college complex and one of the largest of its kind in England, with 22,300 students on the school roll as of the most recent inspection. This is comprised of mostly adults on part-time courses, and around 4,300 learners aged 16 to 19 on full-time study programmes.
