Salary scale: Up to £35,061 for 37 hours per week, all year plus 41 days annual leave, a contributory pension scheme and a range of other benefits.

 The Programme Director will have a key responsibility in ensuring the design and delivery of programmes which are attractive to students, clearly career-related and which promote student independence, with new technology playing an important role in enhancing the effectiveness of teaching and learning.

Reporting to the Programme Area Manager, the Programme Director will ensure effective operation of the programme management cycle (see below), ensuring high-quality programme delivery by a co-ordinated programme team.

The Programme Director will maintain a relevant professional network of contacts within industry and education, and apply their specialist subject knowledge and experience to ensure a curriculum which is attractive, relevant and coherent.
