Blackpool and The Fylde College is recognised as an Ofsted Outstanding provider, following inspection in October 2013. As Programme Leader in Specialist Income Generation, you will lead the development and delivery of a curriculum area, as subject leader/programme tutor, and will provide a co-ordinating focus within a team of subject specialists.

Whilst being fully conversant with programme/course regulations and specifications for the defined area thus ensuring conformity and best practice, you will be responsible for the completion for the course review process and Quality Improvement Plan.

You will effectively use the systems used in College (electronic or otherwise) to ensure student success, i.e. e-tracker, Moodle, internal verification etc. and be responsible for meeting recruitment targets including participation in interviews, Open Days and specific curriculum events. You will be confident teaching a wide range of levels and of effectively tutoring and supporting individuals.

With possession of an appropriate qualification to minimum Level 3, the successful Programme Leader will hold a recognised teaching qualification (minimum level 5) and will have industrial experience in an appropriate discipline, including in renewables and energy.
