Farnborough College's Hampshire Business School is looking for an experienced academic full time permanent Programme Manager to manage the Computing and ICT curriculum. Innovative, ambitious and highly motivated you will provide leadership and direction to this area which offers a range of undergraduate and further education qualifications. The post-holder will have oversight of the curriculum content, academic delivery and assessment of Computing at degree level and of BTEC qualifications in ICT within the FE curriculum.

Expertise in the delivery of FE and HE within an FE environment is desirable. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a secure understanding of the particular challenges and opportunities surrounding the delivery of HE in FE. Qualification to Masters level is desirable, an appropriate teaching qualification is essential, alongside experience of leading a team of academic staff.

The post holder will lead, develop, plan and implement the IT curricula in conjunction with and reporting to the Head of School. The successful candidate will have the vision to make a difference and have extensive experience in the development and implementation of an HE Curriculum and of leading teams to deliver high quality provision. An ability to build successful relationships and liaise effectively with all stakeholders is essential. An ability to teach databases at Levels 4-6 would be particularly desirable.

The position requires a post holder with vision, ambition and focus to lead, influence and shape the future of computing across the School. Applicants should study the job description and person specification.
