The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual to play a central role in the national educational standards improvement initiative within the Dubai Emirate of the UAE.

The Programme Manager will liaise closely with the client in the continuous evolution of an elegant and effective schools evaluation process by facilitating the embedding of best practice and mentoring the nations' educationalists in the methodology and application of self-evaluation and school improvement.

The Person

A dedicated educationalist with prior experience of evaluating the quality of education provision using recognised evaluation frameworks with a strong commitment to improvement.

The successful candidate will have expert management and leadership skills in addition to a wealth of knowledge gained within the schools inspection domain to enable the successful leadership of the highly skilled and committed team of international consultant inspectors to achieve the required outcomes.

Line Management, workforce planning; report writing and quality assurance expertise are the basic skill essentials together with high level communication expertise for this strategic, senior client facing role. An understanding of the UAE Education system and regional etiquette would be a distinct advantage.

You should be educated to a minimum of a Master's level or equivalent, be in possession of Qualified Inspector status, and have a minimum of 5 years of effective school inspection and improvement experience, ideally within an international context.

The Duration This is initially a one year contract with the potential to renew, commencing January 2015 to December 2015 (optional December 2014 start).

The Package

This role is based in Dubai UAE and will attract a remuneration package commensurate with the level of responsibility and expectation and location.
