We are a thriving Further Education college, with over 800 staff providing high quality training and education to some 8,500 students and 2,000 employers. Our campuses in Langley and Windsor serve the diverse communities of Berkshire and West London.

A highly motivated individual, experienced in teaching ESOL programmes, is required to act as the key ESOL curriculum link between East Berkshire College and Job Centre Plus - ensuring the effective planning and delivery of an employability contextualised ESOL programme of learning for Job Centre Plus mandated learners.

Educated to Degree level (in any subject area) and with a basic ESOL Subject Specialist qualification (CELTA, Cert TESOL), you will use your experience of teaching Skills for Life ESOL to ensure that individual learning targets are achieved. With proven ability to build effective working relationships at all levels, you will engage students during delivery of the curriculum and provide regular learner progress reports to the Director of Curriculum, ESOL, Languages & Teacher Training and Job Centre Plus.

Highly organised and methodical, you will lead on assessment/examination arrangements for learners and use your Microsoft Office skills to keep accurate and timely records (e.g. tracking spreadsheets, registers, progress reports etc).
