Location: Based in our Guildford office which is situated on the University of Surrey campus.

We have two temporary full time positions available until 31 July 2015

AQA is an educational charity and the leading provider of A levels and GCSEs in the UK. We are seeking to appoint two dynamic, high calibre individuals to play a leading role in the redevelopment of GCSEs and A-levels in Drama, Music and Dance.

As a Qualifications Developer you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals, each with a passion for education in their subject.

Working with an associate team of subject experts, against a backdrop of government reforms, you will engage with stakeholders, including teachers, learned societies, industry and universities, to develop AQA's creative arts qualifications, assessments and support package to meet the needs of teachers and students.

This is a rewarding and exciting opportunity to work at the heart of qualification reform and drive forward the development A-levels and GCSEs taken by over 200,000 students each year for one of the UK's largest educational charities.

About You:

  • A skilled communicator, a natural relationship builder who can influence, manage and motivate people
  • Highly organised and with experience in planning and managing projects, working to tight deadlines
  • Comfortable managing information and handling complex stakeholder relationships
  • A keen interest in creative arts education, although experience of working in the education sector and of assessment design is not essential
  • An effective problem solver, be ready to take the initiative and be commercially astute and cost aware

The successful candidate will be required to complete a child safeguarding declaration.
