The College is seeking to recruit an experienced and creative individual to support our continued focus on high quality Teaching, Learning and Assessment. In this new role you will collaborate with staff and centre managers to provide an outstanding learning experience for all our students. Therefore the ability to inspire and motivate individuals and teams of staff are essential requirements for the successful candidate.'

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or have relevant industrial experience and will be able to demonstrate effective leadership and development in the relevant area. Reporting to the Assistant Principal (FE Quality) and the successful candidate will lead a team of staff and work effectively in cross-Centre/College teams to bring about improvements.

 Blackburn College is a further and higher education college in Lancashire. As of the most recent inspection there were over 11,000 students on the school roll. A new state of the art Sports facility and Regional Automotive Technology Hub opened in onsite in 2014 at a combined worth of £19 million. The area of Blackburn with Darwen has a population of 150,000, and is 25 miles north of Manchester. There are over 3000 students studying degrees at Blackburn College, which are primarily awarded by Lancaster University.
