Situated in over 2,000 acres of outstanding natural beauty, the works of Ampleforth Abbey are diverse. It is home to a community of 78 monks, more than 815 students on two separate school sites and 500 staff.

St Martin's Ampleforth seeks to appoint an enthusiastic teacher to teach our Reception Class and co-ordinate the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) provision. We are looking for someone with a positive outlook and a constructive approach to continuous improvement in their own teaching.

The appointed person will be responsible for delivering the Foundation Stage curriculum to the Reception Class and co-ordinating the Foundation Stage from Nursery through to the end of Reception. It is essential that applicants have an EYFS qualification.

This appointment would be suitable for an experienced teacher or a newly qualified teacher, for whom the School offers a statutory induction scheme leading to QTS for NQTs.
