School Business Manager, Hounslow

Forge Lane is a small, one form entry school serving a diverse community. We are a rapidly improving school on the Hounslow/Richmond border with an attached ASD unit. We have a committed friendly staff team, well behaved, inquisitive children and supportive Governors.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self motivated School Business Manager to manage the effective provision of financial and human resources, including all aspects of the school's resources management: annual budget planning, administration, support services, ICT, supporting parents, accessing external funding and overseeing premises management. You will also be part of the Senior Leadership Team.

You will have:

• a certificate of School Business Management or be willing to undertake this and further study
• knowledge of sound financial practice and systems
• good understanding and knowledge of personnel issues and exceptional people skills
• the ability to work on your own initiative for this interesting but demanding post
• a commitment to whole school improvement.

We have recently applied for Voluntary Aided status and if successful you will be required to support the school's Christian ethos.
