Wix is a unique and prestigious primary school with a 1.5 form entry. Whilst we are a fully maintained state school, we share our premises with a French Primary school, Ecole de Wix, and since September 2006 have jointly operated a highly successful bilingual stream which works to both English and French national curricula equally. The bilingual stream runs alongside a traditional English primary stream.

We wish to appoint a self-motivated, inspirational School Business Manager to join our friendly school. The post holder will be an active member of the school's leadership team, working closely with the Headteacher, senior leaders and the governors.

The role will involve the strategic leadership and management of the financial, premises, personnel and administrative aspects of the school in order that the senior leaders can focus on teaching and learning.

A strong financial/administrative background is essential. The post holder should be educated to degree level and will ideally have a recognised School Business Management qualification, together with experience of managing finance, human resources, premises and support functions, ideally within a school or education setting.
