Al Ain English Speaking School (AAESS) is an established and respected, dynamic coeducational international school catering for 1000 plus students, ages 3-18 from over 60 nationalities, located in the United Arab Emirates. AAESS is located on the border between the United Arab Emirates and Oman in the scenic UNESCO world heritage site in the oasis city of Al Ain. We offer the Early Years Foundation Stage profile and the English National Curriculum from Foundation Stage, Key Stage One, Two and Three. In Key Stage Four and Five we offer Edexcel and Cambridge iGCSE?s and A level courses. AAESS is also a member of British Schools in the Middle East (BSME).
Our results are excellent and surpass most UK schools. The vast majority of our students leaving Sixth Form attend prestigious universities around the world, such as Oxford, Cambridge, and Harvard including many established and world renowned universities across Europe, Australia and America.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding School Counsellor. The successful candidate will be qualified to at least diploma level and have accreditation or be working towards it. Ideally they will be a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. Experience of working with adolescents and offering guidance is essential. The successful candidate will join an extremely strong, organised and vibrant student support team.
There is a competitive remuneration package which includes a tax free salary, relocation allowance, accommodation, medical cover, annual return flight and an end of contract gratuity. Initial contract is normally for two years.
