In Reading we are seeking to appoint a School Improvement Advisory Teacher for the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Working as part of the School Improvement Team, you will take the lead in advising schools on the EYFS, on transition between early years settings to school and from Reception into Year 1. You will be responsible for managing the moderation programme within the EYFS, identifying training needs to support good practise and working on a number of project initiatives with the early years' service focused on narrowing the achievement gap and ensuring young children in Reading get the best outcomes in the EYFS.

You will be a qualified Teacher with management experience as EYFS Leader in a school setting. It is essential that you have recent and strong detailed knowledge of the EYFS, alongside relevant knowledge on current legislation, statutory guidance and effective practice in relation to early years.
