CfBT Education Trust exists to make a difference to the lives of learners throughout the world. Working with governments, schools and other partners, we strive to provide excellent education for all. As a leading authority on school improvement and school inspection, we apply our expertise in the UK and across the world. CfBT's revenue is generated by winning education-related contracts from governments, public and private bodies and, increasingly in the UK, directly from schools. What sets CfBT apart is that surpluses are reinvested into educational research and development, supporting our mission to advance education for the public benefit.

We are now seeking to appoint a new School Improvement Director for the UK. The Director is responsible for the strategic design and development of all CfBT's school improvement operations across the UK, including the leadership of major contracts in Wales and Lincolnshire and, increasingly, the direct sale of school improvement services to schools.

Reporting to the CEO and a member of the global leadership team, this role presents an opportunity to build innovative new models of school improvement in an entrepreneurial setting. You will bring a successful track record of education leadership, along with the commercial acumen to grow and develop our school improvement service as a profitable enterprise and position CfBT as the market leader in school improvement. You will be adept at building relationships and will have credibility across our core markets. You will bring the strategic skills to contribute at leadership team level and the operational skills to lead the delivery of high quality services and manage business change.
