Nottingham University Samworth Academy wish to appoint a dynamic and innovative School Leader for Pastoral standards, leading on all aspects of care, guidance, and support across the school.

This role will work alongside a School Leader for Pastoral Strategy and will be an essential part in securing effective behaviour for learning standards as the school develops. This is an exciting opportunity which will offer excellent career progression as part of the Torch Academy Gateway Trust through a large network of support.

Working at the Nottingham University Samworth Academy will be an exciting and challenging chapter in the career of any teacher or leader. Along with the responsibilities associated with the position, the successful candidate will be responsible for line management of Heads of Year, developing the SENDCO provision and overseeing the Deaf provision for Nottingham City.

The Samworth University Academy Trust is a partnership between the University of Nottingham and the Samworth Trust. The Nottingham University Samworth Academy was created by the trust and opened in 2009.

The Torch Academy Gateway Trust (TAGT) is a dynamic and growing Multi Academy Trust Group based in the East Midlands. Our Trust Group, comprising Toot Hill School, Meden School and Nottingham Free School, is committed to providing high quality education to all of our students, regardless of their backgrounds. TAGT is also currently working in partnership with Nottingham University Samworth Academy.
