Two temporary/part time posts available 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum
Newport West Collaboration Schools (Bassaleg, Duffryn and St Josephs) require two drivers to transport students between three school.
The successful candidates will:
- Drive a minibus, transporting post-16 students on a daily basis;
- Have responsibility for ensuring the safety of students, staff, road users, pedestrians and the general public;
- Adhere to current legislation, industry best practice and the policies and procedures of Newport City Council.
The post-holders will also be a member of their School's Site Team and will be required to assist in undertaking general site maintenance duties at their allocated school and may act as a key-holder for the school. The need to be flexible in covering the needs of the school is essential.
Previous experience is preferred but not essential. The successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced disclosure check.
