Golspie High School is mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in Sutherland, serving students from the age of 11-18. The secondary school, situated in Golspie has approximately 250 students on record.

Golspie High School was established in 1963. Facilities include a theatre, games hall and playing field.

Golspie High School’s vision is for all students to develop as successful and confident individuals who in turn become responsible and active citizens, contributing positively to the local and wider community. The school works to encourage and support students throughout their education and provides a broad, balanced learning curriculum to promote a love of learning. It is vital to the school that all students reach their full potential and develop the essential skills for learning and working in the future. Success is celebrated on all levels, with the belief that all achievements should be equally recognised. It is vital for the successful running of the school that staff, parents and students work together. Golspie High School encourages students to reflect on their interests, talents and ambitions, encouraging them to get involved with extra-curricular activities to expand their experiences outside the classroom.
