Marketing and Learner Services Department

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated officer to work within the Marketing and Learner Services Department. You will be responsible for the promotion of Northbrook to new learners both locally and nationally, organising and coordinating attendance of both internal & external events, including school liaison and UCAS fairs.

You should have GCSE English and Maths at grade C and hold further level 3 qualifications ('A' Level or equivalent level BTEC or NVQ)

You should have the following skills to perform well in this role:

  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • excellent organisational skills including the ability to work to deadlines;
  • high level written and verbal communication skills;
  • keen eye for details and proof reading skills;
  • proven experience in the use of IT for document production;
  • proven ability to engage with FE/HE audiences.

About the MET

Greater Brighton Metropolitan College (MET) was created from the merger of City College Brighton and Northbrook College Sussex. It is the college for our City and our region and draws on 150 years of heritage, history and experience.

The MET offers a comprehensive range of qualifications for 16 year olds leaving school, full and part time courses for adults, apprenticeships, professional qualifications and university degrees.
