Salary Grade: MPS 1-UPP 3 with TLR 2b (£4,035)

The governors of St James' Church Primary School seek an excellent KS2 class teacher with responsibility for Leading Science and Technologies across the school, to join the school's Middle Leadership Team to help improve standards of learning, teaching, and achieve better outcomes for all pupils.

St James' Church Primary School is a voluntary controlled Church of England school pleasantly situated on the western outskirts of the city of Bradford adjacent to open fields.  Some of the main areas of the school building are newly refurbished and we have a further programme of enhancements for the rest of the school.   

The successful candidate will:

  • Set the highest standards for themselves and pupils
  • Be an excellent practitioner, with the potential and confidence to lead science and technologies across the school (TLR 2b £4,035
  • Have experience teaching in the relevant key stage
  • Have highly effective communication skills, and a commitment to a collaborative, team approach
  • Have excellent subject knowledge across the curriculum,
  • Work well in partnership with parents and governors
  • Support the Christian ethos of the school, whilst not necessarily being a Christian

St James' Church Primary School will offer the successful applicant:

  • Half a day's subject leader release time per week (in addition to PPA)
  • Working with an enthusiastic, ambitious and very happy staff
  • CPD, and support of our School Leadership team
