Glyn School is seeking to appoint an innovative, dynamic and passionate teacher to join our successful Science Faculty as an Aspiring, current Lead Practitioner or Accredited AST. You will join a Lead Practitioner team of thirteen staff from across the school and be central to the continuation and development of the outstanding teaching that takes place across the school.

With our flourishing mixed sixth form, Glyn School is the 4th best non-selective boys' school in the country for GCSE attainment in 2012 and 2013. Furthermore, it was graded 'outstanding' by Ofsted for the second successive inspection in May 2012. It is ideally situated just ten minutes' walk from both Ewell East and Ewell West stations, both of which are approximately 20 minutes from Clapham Junction and within Zone 6.

The successful candidate will need to:

  • be an outstanding classroom practitioner
  • have excellent communication and leadership skills
  • be able to work as part of a team leading whole school learning and teaching
  • deliver whole school CPD
  • provide support to colleagues as part of our successful coaching programme
