Job Summary:
RIS is looking for a middle school teacher who is qualified and has experience teaching more than one of the following subjects (science, mathematics, PE) to younger middle school students. RIS is a young, growing school and is moving into middle school education in August 2012 with a small grade 6/7 combined class.
Many of the students are second-language learners in classrooms where English is the main language of instruction.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid teaching certificate for secondary education
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years relevant teaching experience
- Experience teaching 12-16 year olds
- Ability to work in a team essential
- Ability to speak German an advantage
