Yewlands Technology College is at an exciting stage of its development as it joins the outstanding Wakefield City Academies Trust. CEO of the trust Alan Yellup has been Executive Headteacher at Yewlands since September 2013 and has led Wakefield City Academy to three consecutive outstanding Ofsted inspections reports (most recently in March 2013).

Yewlands Academy is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school without sixth form based in Grenoside, Sheffield.  A relatively small secondary academy, Yewlands provides 900 places to secondary students.
