Do you have a proven track record of effective behaviour management?
We are seeking to appoint a Secondary Behaviour Advisory Teacher who:
- will provide strategic support to schools
- is conversant with the Ofsted inspection framework
- has a 'can do' attitude and solution-focused approach to working
- demonstrates effective teaching and learning methods that support outstanding behaviour management
- values the benefits of multi-agency working
- understands the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion
The Education Inclusion Service plays an important role in promoting and implementing initiatives that support pupils to fully access the school curriculum. The service works in partnership with mainstream schools to improve behaviour for learning and reduce exclusion rates.
On a day-to-day basis you will be working with school leaders, teaching and support staff to support improvements in behaviour within the secondary phase. You will be visiting schools, observing lessons, directly working with staff in groups or individually, giving presentations, providing training and contributing to school improvement meetings.
