The Short Stay School for Norfolk is the largest Alternative Provision Academy in England and operates out of 8 sites across Norfolk. The Academy has a number of contracts to work with a variety of young people with additional needs. The majority of our young people have been permanently excluded from school but we also support a significant group of young people who are too ill to attend mainstream school.

The Secondary Leader is a senior management position which holds responsibility for KS3 and KS4 provision within one of the SSSFN sites. This involves the day to day operational leadership of a team of teachers and support staff and sharing full leadership of the base alongside two leadership colleagues.

Candidates will need to demonstrate an ability to drive improvements in academic performance in a challenging context as well as high aspirations and resilience.
