School of Education

The School of Education is an outstanding provider of teacher education and one of the largest in the country. As a result of the expansion of our PGCE Secondary programme and partnership with TeachFirst, we have a vacancy for a Secondary Professional Studies Tutor on our TeachFirst programme.

You will have experience of working in schools as a teacher and mentor or trainer, as well as having had successful experience providing professional training for colleagues. A first degree, QTS and a higher degree at Master's level are essential.

There will be opportunities for a suitably qualified candidate to develop their teaching and pedagogy as well as engaging in research.
