Secondary SEN Teacher

Nightingale School is a school for boys with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties aged 5-19. We are a friendly and welcoming community and the whole school approach to the children's difficulties is a restorative, nurturing one, that seeks to unlock the pupils' potential and enable them to achieve both academically and socially.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and creative SEN teacher who can offer Mathematics and at least one other subject to GCSE level.

The school encourages creativity and enthusiasm in teaching some of the most vulnerable children in London, and is a strong believer in supporting professional development.

You will mainly teach pupils in KS4 and KS5. The school has high expectations of pupil progress at all levels. We expect all pupils to take external qualifications in Maths this includes Entry Level, GCSE Foundation and Higher, and Functional Skills.

An additional TLR allowance is available for a candidate able to take the lead in Positive Intervention across the school.
