About Peterhead Academy
Our School
Peterhead Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school situated in the small fishing town of Peterhead in Aberdeenshire. We teach students from a very wide variety of backgrounds from ages 11-18 and have a school roll of just over 1200. We have ten feeder primaries from the centre of the town out to more rural areas.
Our school has a strong staff team ethos and provides leadership opportunities for any teacher committed to closing the attainment gap and making a real difference in the lives of our young people.
The school will be moving to a brand-new community campus in 2024 and planning and building work is already underway for this exciting new phase in the life of Peterhead Academy and our community.
Head teacher : Shona Sellers
