Secondary Teacher of Chemistry

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher of Chemistry. Experience of teaching Chemistry to A Level will be seen as an advantage. The Science Department at Doha College consists of 13 full time teachers supported by 3 full time science technicians. Lessons are taught in 12 purpose-built and recently re-furbished, laboratories. The college follows a balanced science programme at Key Stage 3, in line with the English National Curriculum. At Key Stage 4 students opt to take Edexcel IGCSE Separate Sciences. At A level students follow Edexcel Physics and Chemistry courses and CIE Biology. At all stages the college achieves excellent academic success.

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience of the UK curriculum.

Applicants should be willing to contribute in a positive manner to all aspects of the school vision including extra-curricular activities.
