Our Principal is looking for an efficient and experienced Administrator to effectively support her with her day to day administration tasks. In addition, the PA will also contribute to the work of the Admin Team by working collaboratively with other team members.

Our successful candidate will have extensive experience of providing a comprehensive, confidential secretarial / PA service at a senior level. They will have excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels. In addition, they will be proficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheet and database packages. Previous experience of working in an educational setting would be a distinct advantage.

All staff joining the Academy will receive a comprehensive Academy Staff Induction and also an individual, departmental induction. We aim to provide support and guidance for all staff, particularly during their first few weeks in post.

We have a strong focus on the quality of teaching and learning in the classroom, and are constantly looking to innovate in order to improve our practice. Our exam results have grown impressively over the past few years, with our 5 GCSEs at A*-C including English and Maths figure jumping by 18% in 2011. We have a thriving Sixth Form, which offers a wide range of A Level courses, as well as Level 2 and Level 3 vocational courses. Behaviour is good, and we have a very vocal Student Council. All of these aspects of Francis Combe life contribute to the feeling that the Academy is a vibrant, exciting, successful place in which to work and learn.

In September 2011, we moved into the first half of our £25 million new building, which provides an inspiring environment in which to work and offers the latest technology to improve provision, to aid communication and to make our lives a whole lot easier!
