This is an exciting opportunity to join us at a time of major change. Our Tri-borough programme has seen the children's services in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and Westminster City Council delivered in partnership across the three boroughs.

You will work as part of a team to support the SEN Casework and Commissioning Service in building strong and resilient children, young people and families across the Tri-borough by providing comprehensive casework management and administrative support.

You will provide casework support for an allocated caseload of children, young people and their families in the Tri-borough, who are undergoing an education, health and care assessment or have an education, health and care plan (or statement), across the 0 - 25 age range. You will be responsible for managing and processing, under the direction of the responsible SEN Key-Worker, statutory and non-statutory casework within legal and internal timelines including complex cases and those involving appeal hearings and other legal proceedings.

You will be able to use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain high quality relationships with key staff ina wide range of educational settings, especially head teachers and SENCO's, and with professionals and practioners from other services and agencies including, Educational Psychologists, Medical Officers, Social Workers and LA Officers.

You will need to be able to make positive and constructive responses to telephone enquiries from schools, parents, other services and the public, aiming to defuse stress and anxiety and where possible provide required information or signpost to other services.
