Mandeville Primary School is a successful 2 form entry school within Hackney. We strive to provide the best possible education and opportunities for our children to face the challenges of the 21st Century. We allow no obstacles to get in the way of academic achievement. In July 2013 the school was rated by Ofsted as Good with Outstanding leadership. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed SENCO with excellent interpersonal skills who is an advocate of inclusive practice.

The appointed candidate will:

• Inspire staff and children to further improve the quality of teaching and learning
• Have an excellent working knowledge of SEN legislation to the role of SENCO
• Have a proven record of success as practitioner and leader
• Demonstrate the ability to forge partnerships with multi agencies, parents and carers
• Demonstrate optimism about children and expect the highest possible standards

Candidates may also have the National SENCO Award, this is desirable, not essential.
