Permanent contract 32.5 hours per week, Term time (39 weeks per year)

Vicarage Primary is a large successful primary school and is looking for a highly motivated teaching assistant to be a part of a highly valued SEND team and make a contribution to a very productive teaching and learning environment.

The ideal candidate will make a positive and enthusiastic contribution to the lives of pupils, enhancing both academic progress and non-academic development

We are seeking to appoint someone who has:

  • Paid experience in working successfully with children in either key-stage 1 or key-stage 2.
  • Proven experience and skills with working with SEND children with any of ASD, ADHD, MLD, BESD or PMLD
  • A commitment to children achieving their very best.
  • A team player attitude
  • High standards of literacy and numeracy
  • The willingness and ability to work across the school with children from ages 5 to 11.

The role will involve working within classes, groups and on a 1-1 basis.
