Job overview

Al Khor International School is one of the largest international schools in the Middle East with over 4,000 students. We are owned by RasGas and Qatargas, the world's two largest producers of liquefied natural gas. The school has exceptional facilities and is located in Al Khor Community, 40 minutes north of Qatar's capital city Doha.

The Role

  • To facilitate and record all enrollments for British Senior, British Primary and CBSE schools at AKIS
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries from prospective students, their parents, teachers and advisers independently and in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain the school central database and ensure that all the information is kept updated
  • Arrange appointments for entry tests and interviews and do the necessary follow ups as needed
  • Perform other related duties or assignments as directed

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree holder
  • Strong organisational capabilities
  • High degree of competency in MS Office
  • Knowledgeable in current regulations, practices and procedures
  • Working on tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Good numeracy skills

About Al Khor International School

Owned by QatarEnergy LNG– one of the largest natural gas-producing companies in the world, AKIS was established to cater primarily for the children of its employees. The school is located in Al Khor Community, approximately 40Km north of Doha.

A co-educational and non-selective school, AKIS offers the following provision to students from Kindergarten through to Post 16 (3-18 years of age):

  • British Curriculum (BC)
  • Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) of India
  • Ministry of Education and Higher Education Curriculum, including Arabic Language, Qatar History and Islamic Studies.

Over 4,000 students are taught across five buildings, by a dedicated and skilled team of 500+ academic staff, and are supported by a team of more than 50 administrative staff.
