Senior Education Standards and Effectiveness Officer

In Doncaster we are dedicated to giving our children the very best start in life by rapidly raising standards in our schools. We are looking for an experienced, proven primary school leader, adviser or school improvement professional to join our team as Senior Education Standards and Effectiveness Officer. With an excellent track record, you will contribute to the strategic direction of school improvement and the success of the 'one service' strategy. You will be a key member of the team, overseeing our support and challenge programme for a group of schools.

You will need a thorough understanding of how a Local Authority can work with schools and settings to improve education and outcomes for children, and how a range of partners can contribute to this process. You will be a skilled communicator who has an in-depth understanding of schools and the accountability framework in which they operate. You will need to be able to build effective working relationships with headteachers and school staff, analyse and interpret school data and report accurately on school performance. With your proven track record, excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, you will lead and inspire your team to raise standards and improve life chances.
