Senior ICT Technician

The Albany School acquired Academy status in 2011, an 11-16 mixed comprehensive with a positive ethos, good discipline and quality relationships between stakeholders, in very pleasant surroundings in central Havering.

We seek to appoint an energetic, creative and forward-thinking Senior ICT Technician. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7, Office 2010 and general desktop applications is assumed for this role. However, VLE/MLE management experience and an in-depth knowledge of Windows 2008 R2 and associated networking services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP is required.

A good understanding of network infrastructure and HP & Dell hardware including enterprise level WLANS is essential. Hyper V, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL and System Center products are all utilized within the school network and experience of all of these is desirable but not essential.

Any exposure to IP based CCTV systems, education software such as SIMS, mobile device management and Apple software would be beneficial in this role.
