We have created an exciting opportunity for someone to step into this new role which will focus on supporting the needs of students with emotional and/or behavioural needs and mental health difficulties in a large FE environment across 3 main campuses, with additional satellite sites. You will be joining a large team and will need to be innovative and enthusiastic, with experience supporting students with EBD or MH difficulties. We are seeking an individual who will be proactive in raising awareness of these conditions across college and able to provide guidance to college staff around the use of inclusive strategies. You will have excellent communication skills, remain calm under pressure and have a comprehensive understanding of SEN legislation.
The successful individual will provide intervention support to students as appropriate and participate in continuous personal development and training to enable personal growth, and play a key role in enhancing the work of the Additional Learning Support Team.
