Ref: R1159

We are seeking to appoint a well qualified, committed and experienced professional to join a small, enthusiastic and highly successful team to develop further our partnership with schools across our PGCE Secondary Education core and School Direct programmes.

You will take a strategic role in developing the shared vision for the secondary ITE partnership; in coordinating link tutor activities; in mentor training and development; in quality assuring school led provision and in developing new and existing partnership opportunities with schools. The ability to liaise with colleagues in a range of institutions will be an essential requirement of the post in order to enhance consistency of provision, share good practice and provide strategic leadership for the continuing development of the partnership.

A higher degree and a teaching qualification with QTS are essential. You will be required to travel on a regular basis across the region to work with schools and to support trainee teachers on placement in partner schools.

The post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Closing date: 15 September 2014.
