Job overview
How much you achieve in life should not be determined by how much your parents earn. Yet in the UK, it too often is. We believe in the power of education to change this.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an excellent relationship manager to develop our primary school partnership strategy in the North West. You will join a local area team of 16 colleagues, 72 partner schools and two universities to ensure we are partnering with primary schools in the most effective and sustainable ways.
As Senior Officer of School Relationships, you'll play a key role in determining our growth and partnership strategies with a focus on Primary schools. You'll work across the North West education community and internal stakeholders to ensure that we are partnering with primary schools in the most sustainable ways with a model that allows for the greatest support of our trainee teachers and the greatest regional impact.
To do this, you'll develop a strong knowledge of local primary networks and create clusters of primary schools jointly responsible for the Teach First participant (trainee teacher) journey. You'll support new and existing primary school relationships to ensure growth and development of the primary programme and offer ongoing, high quality relationship management to our primary partner schools. You'll be an expert in local primary school networks and be responsible for the induction and ongoing support of primary participants.
To be successful in this role, you'll have a strong knowledge of the primary landscape in the North West with a Primary PGCE or equivalent. You will be highly adaptable with strong communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships at all levels. You'll have proven experience of managing partnerships and driving forward and managing projects. We're looking for a team player with a passion for ending educational inequality.
To apply please include a CV and covering letter in your application, explaining why you want to join Teach First and what you'll bring to the role.
