Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council is looking to recruit a Senior Performance and Achievement Officer (Secondary)

This is an exciting and influential opportunity to play an integral role as a key member of Rochdale's Schools Service. You will be working in close partnership with our Secondary schools to raise standards, support and challenge their school improvement agenda appropriately and work in close partnership with the Secondary school trust, known as The Pioneer Trust Partnership.

You will lead and manage the School Improvement across secondary schools to raise achievement in the Borough:

  • by delivering service priorities
  • by supporting and challenging secondary schools through the Pioneers Trust Partnership
  • by supporting schools to set challenging outcomes for pupils
  • by ensuring that effective action is taken to identify and rectify any causes for concern in schools
  • by providing support and challenge to develop high standards in leadership and management, quality of provision, teaching and learning and sustained effectiveness
  • by facilitating the school improvement work of the Pioneers Trust Partnership to work effectively to secure high standards and outcomes for pupils
  • To lead and manage to a high standard members of the School Improvement Team as appropriate
