Harlow College is seeking to appoint the following staff:
- Senior Tutor in the following area; Children's Care, Learning and Development.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented teacher for our Children's Care, Learning and development course who will be able to play a key role in preparing, planning and delivering learning, performing observations in a placement setting and co-ordinating formal assessments across our Level 1,2, and 3 Children's Care, Learning and Development courses.
As a flexible, creative and pro-active professional you'll be expected to use a range of effective and appropriate teaching and learning initiative that engage, motivate and enable all learners of all abilities to develop and succeed, as well as maximising student potential. You will also be working to address individual learning needs, overcome barriers to learning and encourage autonomous learning.
We want to hear from you have:
- Industrial experience working within a Primary School and / or Childcare setting
- A Degree in a childcare or related subject
- GSCE in English and Maths at Level 2 or above (or equivalents)
- Ideally a teaching qualification, or the willingness to study to achieve qualified teacher status

Harlow is strategically placed on the West Essex/Hertfordshire border at the centre of the London, Stansted, Cambridge corridor, one of the fastest growing and economically important areas in the UK. Harlow College is a strong and successful further education college which aims to provide our students with “Not just courses, careers”, providing them with the skills to achieve 1st class destinations and employment.
