The Governors of Seymour Road Academy are seeking to appoint a dedicated and professional site manager for our school.

Job details

Seymour Road Academy is an above average-sized primary school with increasing numbers and is an exciting place to work and learn! Our children tell us that they 'enjoy coming to school and feel safe and well cared for.' We are looking for a site manager who will help us to look after our school and keep it safe for all of our children.

Are you:

  • energetic and enthusiastic?
  • someone who takes pride in everything they do?
  • able to show a good range of skills including building and grounds maintenance, general DIY and cleaning?
  • able to communicate effectively with a range of people including children, staff, parents, visitors and contractors?
  • able to show a good awareness of health and safety issues?
  • able to work under your own initiative, be able to prioritise your own workload, as well as those of the other site staff and have a calm and professional manner.

Seymour Road Academy is a 3-11 primary school located in East Manchester, less than 3 miles from the centre of Manchester. It is one of three academies within the Wise Owl Trust.

Graded as ‘good with an outstanding EYFS’, the staff at Seymour Road have developed a knowledge and skills rich curriculum construct, putting our children at its centre. Our aim is for our children to foster a love of learning and encourage their curiosity in the world around them.
