Site Officer

35 hours per week (6:00-10:00am and 3:00-6:00pm)

52 week contract (occasionally additional hours may be required to be worked)

The governors are looking to appoint a Site Officer whose primary role will be to ensure the security, safety and up keep of our brand new school and grounds, performing various caretaking functions and completing/overseeing statutory checks and planned maintenance programme. This is a varied and practical role requiring a pro-active, skilled energetic and co-operative individual.

We are looking for a candidate who:

• has good DIY skills
• has good communication skills
• has a knowledge of Health and Safety and Fire Safety
• is conscientious and accurate in their work
• has good organisational skills
• is friendly and approachable
• is flexible and shows initiative
• is IT literate

This role has split shifts, with occasional weekend/evening work and a need to cover emergency call-outs as required. DBS clearance and satisfactory employment references will be required.
