The school seeks to employ a teacher of Social Subjects to join our committed and versatile team. As a provider of special education we work creatively and supportively to offer pupils every chance of success both during and beyond their time at school. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the curriculum beyond their core subject offering and supporting learning opportunities in a range of cultural, sporting and academic activities. Experience of delivering RME would also be advantageous.

About Falkland House School
Falkland House School is an in independent residential school for boys from primary to aged 18 years. Our pupils have a range of Additional Support Needs including emotional and behavioural difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Disorder. We were the first independent school in Scotland (outside of the NAS) to receive accreditation from the National Autistic Society.
We provide residential and day places to boys from early primary to aged 18, with residential placements of both 39 weeks and 52 weeks offered. The school has a well-established reputation for excellence in the quality of its service provision and for achieving positive educational and socially inclusive outcomes.
