Could headship be your next step?

We are now recruiting senior leaders who are preparing for headship to join the Future Leaders programme.

In this last window of applications, we are particularly looking for applicants who will be ready to lead a challenging school within 12-18 months.

You’ll receive:

  • Intensive leadership development during summer 2016
  • Ongoing mentoring and coaching from our pool of experienced headteachers and executive coaches
  • Visits to exemplary schools across England
  • Career development and guidance to enable you to reach headship within three years
  • Support from the growing network of over 500 Future Leaders across England

Who we’re looking for:

We are looking for applicants whose next step is headship. If you work in a secondary school, you will be deputy head level. If you work in primary, you will be a deputy or assistant head, or have significant whole-school experience and be looking to headship within 12-18 months.

In order to join the programme in this final window of applications, you must already work in a school which meets our eligibility criteria.

There is no upfront cost to participants.
